Rebecca Charlesworth – Digital Marketing Manager

With a First-Class Honours degree in Art & Design, Rebecca understands the significance of excellent design in everyday life. She is on a mission to make the world a happier, more captivating place through user-friendly design. Rebecca manages Blueberry’s digital design, website, graphics, social media, and CRM systems, and describes herself as a “proud Leeds native” having lived and worked in Leeds her entire life.

Rebecca began her career at the age of fourteen as a waitress in Leeds Kirkgate Market and is proud to have been in continuous employment ever since. Balancing eight years of Further & Higher Education with multiple jobs around the city, Rebecca worked as a chef and then a barmaid in some of the best (and worst) bars in Leeds. Her diverse career also includes roles as a junior kitchen designer and positions in specialist retail. When asked about her favourite aspect of working in Leeds, Rebecca remarked, “I love the people; Yorkshire folk are typically friendly, and I have a passion for customer service.” Today, in addition to her work at Blueberry, Rebecca volunteers weekly at her local Rainbows group (Girl Guides).

A jack-of-all-trades, Rebecca is also proficient in digital vinyl cutting, welding, woodwork, metal crafts, needle felting, and latex & plaster casting. An animal lover, Rebecca has homed everything from chinchillas to chickens. She currently lives with her two cats, Dave and Lana, a Hermann tortoise named Derek, and her lovable German Shepherd, Eddie.

In addition to her Art & Design degree, Rebecca has studied an International Baccalaureate, a Hospitality Management Diploma, and holds an Extended Diploma in Art and Design, specialising in sculpture. What a busy bee!
